The coating consists of 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc, and 1.5% silicon in weight ratio, respectively. • Mechanism of Corrosion Resistance: Aluminum primarily contributes to its robust corrosion resistance. In the event of zinc abrasion, aluminum reacts to form a dense layer of aluminum oxide, effectively preventing further corrosion of the underlying steel.
