Printed Color Coated Steel and Aluminum Coil

Printed color coated plates offer decorative effects such as wood grain, brick grain, camouflage, marble, and more.

The printing process for color coated coils typically involves gravure printing. This method utilizes steel rollers engraved with laser patterns to transfer ink onto the surface of the steel plate.

Production Process:

1. Substrate Preparation: The substrate undergoes pretreatment including degreasing, cleaning, and passivation.
2. Primer Application: After pretreatment, a layer of matching color primer is applied to the steel plate's surface. Depending on the application field, primers can be polyester, polyurethane, or other coatings. After drying and baking, the primer forms a solid base.
3. Ink Printing: Ink is applied according to the desired pattern complexity, ranging from single-color to multi-color printing. After printing, the ink is dried and baked.
4. Varnish Coating: The next step involves recoating with varnish, which includes polyester, High Durable Polyester (HDP), fluorocarbon PVDF, or other types of paint coatings. This additional coating enhances durability and aesthetic properties.
5. Final Processes: The entire production cycle concludes with cooling, coiling, and shearing to produce the finished printed color coated boards.

For applications requiring higher printing quality, such as fluorocarbon printed color coated panels, a three-coating and three-baking process may be employed. This advanced process involves applying a polyurethane primer, followed by a layer of matching color fluorocarbon topcoat, ink printing, and finally, a top layer of fluorocarbon varnish.

Environmental Considerations

Chemical treatment of the color aluminum employs a neutral treatment agent, roller coating treatment, and a hot air rapid drying process. This method differs from traditional dip coating, effectively minimizing environmental impact.

Surface treatment incorporates an advanced chromium-free treatment liquid to comply with stringent domestic and international environmental regulations.

Environmental Sustainability

During the curing process of the color coated aluminum plates, volatile components are recycled for secondary use. Our facility includes an advanced VOC defluorination system to optimize heat energy utilization, achieving zero emissions and eliminating environmental pollution.

1) Polyester(PE)
Good formability and adhesion, color is rich and various, superior durability in the outdoor, good chemical resistance
and low cost.
2) Silicon modified polyester(SMP)
Good wear resistance and heat resistance, as well as good exterior durability and resistance to pulverization, medium cost.
3) High durability polyester(HDP)
Anti-ultraviolet and excellent color retention, excellent resistance to pulverization, good adhesion, color is rich, good cost
performance.
4) Polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)
Strong performance of anti-ultraviolet, can stand against strong change of weather for long time and erosion for many kinds
of chemical medium, excellent solvent resistance,dirty resistance, color is limited and high cost.
