Introduction
Aluminium-zinc is often used as a cost-effective method of
protecting aluminium against rust and corrosion and prolonging its
service life.
ALU-ZINC also offers good heat resistance. The heat-reflecting
aluminium content is twice that of galvanised steel, making GL a
frequently used thermal insulation material.
Product advantages
Thermal reflectivity: ALU-ZINC roof tiles have a very high thermal
reflectivity, twice that of galvanised steel, and are often used as
a thermal insulation material.
Heat resistance: aluminium-zinc alloy steel sheet has good heat
resistance and can withstand temperatures above 300 degrees
Celsius, similar to the high temperature oxidation resistance of
aluminised steel sheet, and is often used for chimney flues,
furnaces, lamps and fluorescent lamp covers.
Corrosion resistance: The corrosion resistance of aluminised zinc
sheet is mainly due to the protective function of aluminium. When
the zinc is sanded, the aluminium forms a dense alumina layer that
prevents corrosion-resistant substances from further corroding the
interior.
Cost-effectiveness: as the density of 55% AL-Zn is lower than that
of Zn, the surface area of an aluminium-zinc coated sheet is more
than 3% higher than that of a galvanised steel sheet with the same
weight and layer thickness.

Aluminium-ZINC steel sheet is widely used in roofing and cladding
of urban residential buildings, renovation of old buildings,
industrial sites, new buildings in the countryside, single-family
houses in the countryside, light steel frame houses, railway
stations and large transport hubs, conference and exhibition halls,
stadiums, exhibition halls, large public buildings, public utility
buildings, large shopping malls, commercial facilities and other
architectural roofing and cladding systems. Aluminium clad zinc
