Another alternative for increased rigidity is to use a Petrochem profile. The profile allows for thinner material to be used in some instances without losing rigidity. Standard thicknesses are 0.4mm to 0.8mm. • The density of 55% aluminum is smaller than that of zinc. With the same weight and thickness of the plating layer, the area of the galvalume steel sheet is 3% or larger than that of a galvanized steel sheet.
